TomyTec Little Armory 1/12 LD037 UGV Armed Robot System
Product Description
Unmanned ground vehicles are known as UGVs. The TALON robot for explosives disposal is famous, but there is a prototype armed variation MAARS robot in its geneaology. MAARS was given the ability to perform RSTA (reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition) missions on behalf of soldiers; it’s equipped with a 7.62mm machine gun capable of 450 shots, and a four-unit grenade. It’s capable of monitoring, maneuvering and aiming with various sensors. The sound collector/loudspeaker makes it possible to collect information, issue warnings and sirens. Its battery gives it 8 to 12 hours of operation time, and a wide variety of missions can demonstrate its capability, such as guarding outposts, providing fire support associated with infantry, and rushing into dangerous areas in advance.
This Little Armory version comes complete with the UGV unit and a set of operation equipment. The turret can turn, and also change its elevation and depression angle; the feeder part is made of soft resin. It’s molded in three colors, and the sensor camera is also movable. The control station set includes a control antenna and short prop, a controller with hood, an equipment case and military notebook PC, and a radio/game controller. In addition to modern-day combat scenes, it also loves to play with SF mecha
